Gwen’s primary clinical work has been in New York City schools, representing community based organizations, as well as in public health services in the Bronx.
Gwen strongly believes in the mind-body integration, honoring the whole person through a holistic perspective. She utilizes multidisciplinary therapeutic modalities, founded in her undergraduate work at UCLA, and refined during her studies at NYU, where she earned a Master’s in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness. Gwen also has a professional background in music, as a singer, and is passionate about bringing this creativity into the way she approaches clients, meeting each person where they are, and collaboratively curating a customized approach that fits accordingly. She is extensively trained to support individuals in addressing a range of issues, including: unsatisfying relationships, self-esteem issues, life transitions, grief and bereavement, trauma, work stress and family dynamics, as well as interpersonal skills and communication, helping people to find fulfillment in their lives.
