Through a warm, engaging, down to earth style, I will meet you where you are at. In a non judgmental and supportive space we will work collaboratively to identify your personal goals and create a plan that leaves you feeling empowered and prepared to reach those goals. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families however also have experience and enjoy working with adults as well. Utilizing the lens of Systems Theory, I find it important to work together to identify solutions that acknowledge the role the environment and our interpersonal relationships play in the development of our thoughts and behaviors. I utilize and specialize in Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, Collaborative Problem Solving, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I obtained my Masters in Social Work from Roberts Wesleyan College and I have been working as a LMSW, in a variety of mental health settings, for 12 years. Most recently, I have been working at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY on an inpatient psychiatric unit for children and adolescents.
