As a licensed social worker, I am engaged in multi-faceted approaches to psycho-therapy. I specialize in using Motivational Interviewing techniques to assist clients in determining goals which meet client needs, resulting in the ability to make lasting life changes towards optimum functioning.

The areas in which I provide treatment are: health and wellness, mental health depression, Bipolar Disorder- work on mood regulation in congruence with medication management where necessary.

Annalene G. Antonio, LMSW, LSW

Experience working with children, families, individuals and Veterans expressing symptoms of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorder and Anxiety Disorders. Fully trained on Co-Occurring Disorders and Mindfulness and Contemplative Social Work Therapy. Current modality of practice is Motivational Interviewing, with potential to utilize a combination of best-practice modalities.

Current approach to working with individuals is behavioral. All expressions of symptoms are a result of environmental and internal factors. The journey involves enhancing one’s awareness; self-exploration; and implementing tools that can better enhance the achievement of one’s mental health goals.

Laura Kish, LMSW

I specialize in treatment of Anxiety and Depressive Disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, grief, weight management, feelings of hopelessness, aimlessness, and un-fulfillment, difficulties with self-esteem, self-compassion and self-sabotaging behaviors, transitional life changes, aging, care-takers stress, as well as interpersonal and relationship issues.

My approach is tailored to each individual and utilizes a variety of Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapy, to create collaborative goals and reduce negative thoughts and maladaptive behaviors. I completed my Masters of Social Work at Columbia University and my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Hunter College.
