She believes that it is vital to nurture physical and emotional health for all members of the family. This belief has lead BCS Group to be one of the most successful mental healthcare providers in the Brooklyn community.

Today, BCS Group has grown to include Practices in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn Heights, Staten Island, Dyker Heights, Flatbush, Downtown Brooklyn, and Online Counseling (Video Chat Counseling). Continuing its commitment to provide professional, compassionate and reliable mental healthcare to the communities we serve.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide complete psychological care for the communities we serve.

We strive meet the needs of our clients with a comprehensive approach, whether its individual, couple or family counseling.

BCS Group also offers specialized support groups such as women’s issues, parenting, grief and self-esteem.

Some people seek psychotherapy because they have felt depressed, anxious or angry for a long time or may want help for a chronic illness that is interfering with their emotional or physical well-being. Others may have short-term problems they need help navigating, such as a divorce, facing an empty nest, feeling overwhelmed by a new job or grieving a family member’s death.

Symptoms can include changes in mood, personality, personal habits and social withdrawal. Mental illnesses have no boundaries, it can affect people of any age, race, religion or income.

Counseling can help you take control of your life, your self-esteem and your confidence. Counseling will give you the tools to respond to challenging situations with healthy coping skills.

Counseling is a professional relationship that focuses on personal issues you maybe experiencing.

The counseling relationship differs from both social friendships and patient-doctor contacts. Unlike friends, counselors are able to be objective; they are not involved in your daily lives. Unlike most doctors, counselors don’t give specific advice or tell you what to do. Instead, they serve as skilled listeners who help you to clarify issues, discover your true wishes and feelings, and deal effectively with problems.
