This group was created for women who want to achieve more fulfillment, happiness, and peace in life. I believe you can change the way you feel by changing the way you think. My approach as the group facilitator is to provide direct but empathetic feedback to our group members. Each week we will engage in discussions and activities to promote self-care, learn mindfulness techniques, build self-esteem, and develop healthy coping skills. Together we will work to find ways to improve mood, decrease anxiety, and refine your ability to cope with day-to-day life without becoming overwhelmed. Topics will include relationship issues, anxiety, depression, self-care, family discord, intimacy, self-worth, and many more.

I am a licensed therapist with over twenty years of experience working with diverse populations in a variety of settings including hospitals, mental health clinics, outpatient substance abuse clinics, nursing homes, and foster care. There is no one size fits all mode of treatment. We will work together to find the approach that works best for you.
I use various treatment modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, motivational interviewing, strengths-based therapy, supportive psychotherapy and psychodynamic therapy. I work with teens, adults, couples, older clients and groups. I am excited to meet you and start this journey together.
