Our minds and bodies carry memories and scars of experiences endured and the emotions we have attached to them. We may not choose what happens to us, but the stories we have are ours alone. I see you as the expert of your own life, but sometimes we need a trusted person to help us unpack, process, and move beyond life’s challenges.
My passion is to create an empathetic, mindful, and safe therapeutic environment to help you harness your inner wisdom and strength to start living a more fulfilling and self-empowered lifestyle. I work collaboratively with children, adolescents, adults, couples and/or families to develop skills and strategies for confronting issues with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, familial conflict and parenting, life transitions, and personal relationships. I also have experience working with clients with ADHD and Autism. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, as I incorporate client-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness techniques, motivational interviewing, and emotionally focused therapy through a trauma-informed lens.
