The Identity Group

A safe and non judgmental space for parents with adolescents struggling with or questioning their identity. To share knowledge and guidance through the different aspects of identity for better understanding.

• The group will not have a specific religious underpinning, it’s open and inclusive to all faiths.
• All conversations will be confidential and held in the highest regard of privacy for all group members involved.
• The group has been established to provide community and understandable education to parents in what can be a very confusing and unfamiliar situation.

The purpose of the Identity Group is to:

To radically accept, learn different ways of communication and create a supportive environment for your adolescent. Additionally, treating your adolescent’s experience, mental health and developing identity with both care and understanding.

The group leader will set a tone that everyone’s experience may be different yet matters the same and we can all learn from one another. The group has been formed for the betterment of all parents involved to directly benefit every adolescent, this is our group collectively as a whole.
