The purpose of the Chronic Pain Group is to educate clients on chronic pain, its causes/effects, and pain management for a better quality of life.

Week 1: Introduction of the pain management group,
Week 2: CBT Pain Cycle,
Week 3: Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) & Therapeutic Influences, CBT – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EBT – Exposure – Based Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-based Interventions
Week 4: (PRT) Pain Reprocessing Therapy Breakdown
Week 5: Assessing for Neuroplastic Pain
Week 6: Guide to Somatic Tracking
Week 7: Mindfulness
Week 8: Breathing as a Positive Sensation Prompt
Week 9: Barriers and Helpful Prompts
Week 10: The Psychological Toll of Pain
Week 11: Applications
Week 12: Conclusion.
