Bearing witness to this journey is one of my greatest joys and why I always say that “ I have one of the best jobs in the world.” My aim is to help others transmute life challenges, pain and suffering into opportunities for growth, self-love and greater awareness of the value and importance of their existence.
Those I serve are as important to me as I am to them as they are also a part of my journey. It is for this reason that I place a very high regard on the importance of, trust, connection and the therapeutic alliance between my- self and those I serve. My background involves providing individual and group therapy to women, children, adolescents, and families battling various forms of mental illness, including depression, anxiety disorders, learning disabilities, phobias and attention disorders. I have received intensive training in the dynamics of Domestic Violence, Rape, Sexual Assault and the Neurobiology of Trauma. Additionally, I have received training and have experience in the areas of, Trauma, PTSD and Narcissistic Abuse. My training as a practitioner of Chinese medicine allows me to appreciate the value of integrating all aspects of self (Mental, Spiritual, Physical) in treatment. My objective is to assist others in exploring the many tools and resources they have at their disposal in order to address the complex challenges they face from a holistic perspective and with the acknowledgement of the spirit, mind, body connection.
