I have extensive experience working with women who were homeless and who endorsed a dual diagnosis as well as had long histories of trauma, loss and other co-morbidities. Given their life experiences trusting others was sometimes difficult for my clients.

I am very much comfortable working with clients of diverse populations and in my experience thus far I have had the opportunity to work with people of diverse backgrounds and cultural differences, members of the LGBTQIA+ populations, and people with varying diagnoses and cognitive abilities. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, stress related disorders, and have experience working with trauma. I received my Master’s in mental health counseling from Brooklyn College, CUNY and have training in psychodynamic, humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, and person-centered approaches, as well as mindfulness. I believe that working with individual client needs helps aid the approach I take to therapy, as I believe therapy is a collaborative process between counselor and client.
